I greatly appreciate the hospitality of the staff. I enjoy the tastes of Biriyani, butter chicken being served at the Market Hall . the taste of Asian food is much more better than it used to be. Even the place is well maintained and welcoming for students with reasonable prices.

Omg, this is the best cafe in the waurnponds university as I guess, cause the verities of foods which they are providing and the nice staff who has smile of their face every time makes us even more pleasant. Comparing to the last year, market hall cafe has included more food not only Aussie stuff but also Asian. If you haven't tried food from market hall, just try once and feel the taste. Thank you.

I’ve witnessed a lot of unsafe OH&S (spraying of glass counter tops while food is still in the counter, people using fingers to push food into the containers) and recently all food that is on offer is either spicy, garlic, pepper or ginger, and curries and casseroles.
Options for vegans and vegetarians consisting of the same noodles, rice and curries everyday is a little disappointing, and after the mashed pumpkin I had today (pumpkin pasta?) I’m considering my daily heartburn void from now on.

I think that there are too many meaty options and not enough vegetarian/vegan options. When I went there yesterday, there were only two or three options that were vegetarian, even though the staff person (through obvious lack of knowledge of vegetarian diet) thought there were more. The vegetarian options weren't particularly inviting, with one being just plain fried rice. The staff person indicated an option which was mostly egg, but egg is not vegetarian, as it is an animal cell (albeit unfertilised). He also indicated options containing ample cheese but no indication of whether the cheese contained animal or microbial rennet. Also, I told him that I couldn't eat onion, and he told me that the felafel rolls didn't have onion in them but I realised after purchasing and eating one of the felafel rolls, (and being badly ill later) that they DID in fact contain onion. It wasn't fresh onion, as it would have been obvious and I wouldn't have eaten it. However, there was a small amount of a sweet sauce in the roll that I think contained onion. I believe the staff are not sufficiently knowledgeable about the foods being sold.
